Alex has more than a decade of experience working in strategic communication and journalism across the for-profit and nonprofit sectors within the U.S. and overseas. As ICCR's and the Investor Alliance's Director of Communications, he is responsible for managing media relations, developing messaging for the two organizations and their priority programs, and overseeing the organizations' internal and external communications channels. Prior to joining ICCR, Alex worked at a range of organizations and companies including the International Rescue Committee, The Roosevelt Institute, BerlinRosen and ABC News. In 2008 he was a Field Organizer with the Obama presidential campaign in Lake County, Ohio.

He is passionate about the power of story and in the ways community, collaboration and transparency can drive better outcomes.  He is grateful for the opportunity to help tell the stories of ICCR members and partners as they advocate for positive change at some of the world’s biggest and most influential companies. Alex is a Hall of Fame Volunteer with Big Brothers of New York. He completed his MA in International Reporting at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism and BA in International Affairs and Latin American Studies at George Washington University. He lives with his wife and children in New Rochelle, NY.
