August 2021: Submission to EU's public consultation on Sustainable Corporate Governance Initiative

The Investor Alliance submitted a response to the EU's public consultation on its Sustainable Corporate Governance Initiative encompassing the proposed mandatory human rights due diligence (mHRDD) legislation. These submissions support the need for robust mechanisms to enforce mHRDD requirements, including legal liability for failure to conduct effective HRDD and clear access to remedies for victims and affected communities.
